DENTAL ASSISTANT WITH EXPANDED FUNCTIONS AND RADIOLOGY

Florida Dental Assistant Training with expanded functions and radiology training (dental x-ray training) prepares you for a very rewarding and exciting dental career! As a hands-on Dental Assistant School, Central Florida Institute (CFI) prepares you to perform both clinical, administrative and radiology dental procedures. According to the Occupational Outlook Handbook, from the U.S. Department of Labor, job prospects for Dental Assistants with expanded functions and radiology training such as dental x-ray training are excellent and employment is expected to grow much faster than the average of all job opportunities through the year 2012. The U.S. Department of Labor projects that dental assistant jobs resulting from dental assistant training programs including radiology programs (x-ray training program), such as the program at CFI, will be one of the fastest growing occupations over the next ten years.

Due to better dental care, individuals are retaining their natural teeth and demand more dental services. As a result, dentists will be hiring more dental assistants to help meet the increased demand for dental services.
